Mountains
Mountains. My adventure with them began in high school. It was then, for the first time, consciously and with a bunch of friends, we started to ride them successively. There was – even then – peace and quiet, and there were not as many people on the routes as now. We got up in the morning, prepared the most necessary things and set off. We reached the entrance to the trail on foot or by local communication. When we stood at the entrance to the trail – the adventure began – every day different, full of impressions and new sensations – not forgetting the beautiful views that I miss every day …
And so, years later, I am starting my return to the hiking trails of our mountains. The film “14 peaks: Nothing is impossible” made a significant contribution to the return to the trails. The filmmakers set themselves the goal of reaching the 14 highest peaks. If “nothing is impossible” then why not to conquer the crowns of Polish mountains? And this is how this plan was born …
28 peaks
Our goal is to get all 28 peaks. When? As soon as we can. We strive to do this within one calendar year – will we succeed? We don’t know that. We know one thing – the mountains are a wonderful place, which is always worth coming back to. The fatigue that accompanies reaching the peaks is largely compensated by the time spent together and wonderful views – even when the wind tries to push you down and you, despite the wind, do not get discouraged and bravely go on to face it with every step …
There are many challenges ahead of us – but what would our life be if we gave them up?
Progress
We have already visited some of the peaks, others will say – we have conquered. For us it is great fun – and for me – I will not hide it – the ability to capture the next moments with the lens of a phone or camera and this is what I will share with you – photos.
The peaks we have already visited:
Śnieżka / 1602 m n.p.m. / Karkonosze
Tarnica / 1346 m n.p.m. / Bieszczady
Lackowa / 997 m n.p.m. / Beskid niski
Skrzyczne / 1257 m n.p.m. / Beskid śląski
I will be adding more peaks as soon as we manage to visit them – or if we reach them – see for yourself. See you on the trail 🙂
